Lauderdale Dr
Removal of an existing deteriorated balcony deck, including disposal of all damaged materials, followed by reconstruction of the structural framing and installation of new decking boards, delivering a safe, stable, and long-lasting outdoor space.
The brief
A private client on Lauderdale Drive, Craigieburn engaged us to rebuild an ageing deck. The existing structure had reached the end of its life, so we completed a full strip-out and rebuild, installing a new level subframe with fresh bearers, joists, and decking to create a durable outdoor space built to last.
How we built it
We removed the old decking boards and stripped back the existing frame before installing the new bearers and setting them level and square. The joists were then fixed into position, checked for alignment, and the new decking was installed with clean lines and secure fixings for a quality finish.
The outcome
A complete deck rebuild delivered with a new structural subframe and fresh decking installed. The old, worn structure was replaced with a solid, level outdoor space, handed back ready for the client to enjoy.
