Watt Street
Double-storey townhouse development in Spotswood for Beehiva Homes, completed through structural framing, box gutters, parapets, and window installation.
The brief
Beehiva Homes engaged us to complete the structural carpentry package for a double-storey townhouse development at Watt Street, Spotswood. Our scope included framing the dwellings, completing box gutters and parapets, Proboard sheeting, raked roof framing to the front of the homes, and window installation.
How we built it
We set out the site and installed the ground-floor frames to the architectural and engineering requirements, followed by the Posi-Strut flooring and first-floor framing. The roof trusses were then installed, followed by the box gutters, parapets, and raked front roof structure. Proboard sheeting was installed and the windows fitted to complete the external carpentry works. Each stage was checked throughout the build to ensure the structure progressed correctly and was ready for inspection.
The outcome
The double-storey townhouse development was delivered through the full structural carpentry scope, with the frames completed and the external structure prepared for the following stages of construction. The site was handed over to the next trades ready to continue the build.
