Undercover Site Walkways
Undercover walkway completed for a Hickory site, including structural framing, sheeted roofing, and enclosed walls to provide protected access across the work area.
The brief
Kallibre required protected access through an active construction site, so we built temporary undercover walkways to provide a safe and practical connection across the site. Designed to handle weather, daily site traffic, and ongoing construction activity, the walkways provided reliable access without disrupting the build process.
How we built it
The walkways were framed using treated pine, set out to suit the required access routes and reinforced with galvanised bracing for added stability. The roofs were finished with corrugated polycarbonate and Laserlite sheeting, providing weather protection while allowing natural light through. Every component was securely fixed to withstand the demands of a busy construction site.
The outcome
Covered access up and running across the site, dry underfoot and out of the way of the trades. Crews could move through safely while the rest of the build kept going.
